About us

About Synvero Health

Synvero Health is a US health-tech company developing AI-powered digital adherence, monitoring and coaching solutions. They enable more efficient inhaled drug delivery and better clinical outcomes for patients with pulmonary diseases, including asthma and COPD.

What we do

AI-powered adherence for inhaled therapies.

01

Guide, monitor, coach

Driven by proprietary AI and technology, our FDA-listed Kata app guides, monitors and coaches patients during inhalation. It helps them improve inhaler technique and reduce critical device-handling errors, which occur in up to 80% of inhalations and lead to inadequate drug delivery and poor disease control.

02

Proven and scalable

Kata is clinically proven and compatible with more than 95% of inhaler devices. It requires only a smartphone, enabling rapid deployment across health systems, and has the potential to set a new digital standard for inhaler technique training, adherence and monitoring.

03

Ready for the US market

Synvero is preparing for US market entry through commercial partnerships with payers, health networks and providers, initially targeting large asthma and COPD populations with significant unmet needs: more than 24 million US patients.

At a glance

Synvero Health in four points.

Who we are

A US health-tech company developing AI-driven digital health adherence solutions to coach and monitor inhaled therapies for asthma and COPD patients.

The issue we address

Poor inhaler technique is common and hard to fix. It leads to low drug delivery, poor disease control and costly care complications.

Our technology

The Kata digital health app is clinically validated and FDA-listed as a medical device. Its AI and technology are protected by US, EU and Asian patents.

Why we're different

Compatible with more than 95% of inhaler devices and requiring only a smartphone, Kata can be deployed rapidly across health systems.

Market opportunity

The largest inhaled drug market is growing.

$13.28B

US inhalable drug market, estimated value in 2021

6.1%

compound annual growth rate, 2023 to 2030

Growth is driven by:

  • New investigational therapies for rare respiratory diseases, such as pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF)
  • Rising incidence of asthma and COPD, and a growing elderly population

Dry powder inhalers and aerosol-based therapies remain the dominant device types for inhalable therapies, today and in the future.

Bar chart: US inhalable drugs market size by drug class (dry powder formulation, aerosol, spray), 2020 to 2030, rising from $12.5 billion in 2020 and $13.2 billion in 2021
